Who it's for

Built for two groups the system often overlooks

Temporary residents in Canada

You're already here and working toward what comes next.

  • Closed or open work permit holders
  • Visitors exploring their options
  • People whose permit has expired or is about to

Foreign workers abroad

You have the skills Canadian employers need and want a clear way in.

  • Skilled and semi-skilled workers in any country
  • Candidates with IELTS, CELPIP, PTE, TEF or TCF scores
  • Workers ready to share a resume with hiring employers
Why WorkerPool

Human skill data has real value. It only creates opportunity when it is organized, accurate and in the right hands.

Most candidate information sits scattered across inboxes, PDFs and social posts. Employers can't search it and consultants can't act on it. We collect it once, in a consistent structure, and channel it to organizations that can actually use it.

Structured from the start

Work history, permit details and language scores are captured in the same format every time, using each test's real scoring scale.

Timely

Permit and test expiry dates are recorded, so the right people can reach a candidate before an option closes.

Consent-led

Candidates choose exactly who sees their profile: employers, a licensed consultant, both or neither.

20years in data, policy and process
About us

Run by people who know how data and policy fit together

WorkerPool's founders are policy and process veterans with about 20 years of experience in data mining and data management. We have spent our careers turning messy information into clean, usable records, and making sure every process around that data stands up to the rules.

We built WorkerPool because talented people keep getting lost between systems. A cook in Calgary, a caregiver in Manila or a welder in Ludhiana can have exactly the skills an employer needs and still never be found. Good data, handled responsibly, changes that.

WorkerPool is an Alberta-based data processing company. We collect, organize and securely share candidate information. We are not an employer, and we are not immigration representatives.

Compliance and trust

Built around the rules, not around them

We work with sensitive information about people's work and status. Here is how we handle it.

Alberta employment agency rules

No fees for job seekers

Candidates never pay to be matched with employers or to receive information about them. Employers fund the service.

IRPA section 91

No unlicensed immigration advice

We don't advise on immigration options or applications. That advice comes only from CICC-licensed consultants and lawyers, who set their own fees.

Alberta PIPA and PIPEDA

Consent before sharing

We collect only what the services need, explain why, and share a profile only with the parties a candidate approves.

Your privacy rights

Access, correct, delete

Candidates can view, update or ask us to delete their profile at any time. We never sell profiles to data brokers.

CASL

Emails only when you opt in

Service messages go to people who use the service. Marketing emails go only to those who tick the box, with an unsubscribe link in each.

Recruitment rules

Fair hiring partners

Employers hiring foreign workers must follow federal and provincial rules, including the ban on recovering recruitment fees from workers.

Protect yourself from job fraud. WorkerPool will never ask you to pay for a job offer, an LMIA or a guaranteed visa. Anyone selling these is breaking the law. Report it to us and to the authorities.
Questions

Frequently asked

Is WorkerPool really free for candidates?

Yes. Creating a profile, joining Employer Match and requesting a call from a licensed consultant are all free. Employers pay to access candidate profiles.

Do you guarantee a job or a visa?

No. We share your profile with employers and licensed professionals. Hiring decisions belong to employers, and immigration decisions belong to the Government of Canada.

Are you immigration consultants?

No. We are a data processing company. If you ask for help, we pass your profile, with your consent, to a licensed consultant or lawyer, and they advise you directly.

Who can see my information?

Only the groups you approve. You can choose employers, a licensed consultant, both or neither, and change your mind later.

I'm outside Canada. Can I still join?

Yes. Choose "Outside Canada" when you build your profile, then add your country, city, work experience and language scores.

How do I delete my profile?

Contact us from the email on your account and we will delete your profile and stop sharing it.
