Terms of use
These terms apply when you use workerpool.ca. By creating an account or submitting a form, you agree to them. Please read them with our privacy policy.
What WorkerPool is
WorkerPool is a data processing service based in Alberta, Canada. We collect candidate profiles and, with each candidate's consent, share them with Canadian employers and with licensed immigration professionals.
No fees for candidates, and no guarantees
- Candidates never pay WorkerPool to create a profile, join Employer Match or ask for a consultant call.
- We don't guarantee any job offer, interview, LMIA, work permit, visa or immigration result. Employers make hiring decisions, and the Government of Canada makes immigration decisions.
- Anyone who asks you to pay for a job offer, an LMIA or a guaranteed visa is acting illegally. Please report it to us.
Your account
- Give true, current information and keep it up to date. Inaccurate profiles may be removed.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person.
Employers and partners
- Use candidate information only to consider candidates for real jobs or, for licensed partners, to respond to a candidate's request for help.
- Follow all employment, human rights, privacy and immigration laws, including the rules against charging workers recruitment or placement fees.
- Don't share candidate information with anyone else or use it for unrelated marketing.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the website: no false or misleading information, no attempts to access other people's accounts or data, and no scraping, spam, or anything that disrupts the service. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Our content
The WorkerPool name, logo and website content belong to WorkerPool. You keep ownership of the information you submit, and you give us permission to store, process and share it as described in our privacy policy and your consent choices.
Limits of our responsibility
We work to keep WorkerPool accurate and available, but we provide it "as is." To the extent the law allows, WorkerPool isn't responsible for decisions made by employers, consultants, lawyers or government, or for indirect losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.
Changes and ending use
We may update these terms and will post changes here with a new date. You can stop using WorkerPool and ask us to delete your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
